Start the New Year off by cleaning out your sewing closets!

Sale time is 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Wake County Commons Building, Carya Drive.

Drop off of donations - pins, fabrics, sewing machines, etc. is from 8:30 - 10:00 AM.  Pickup of unsold items after the sale is required because we have no storage space for these items.

Renowned teacher and writer Elizabeth Searle is coming to Raleigh
Her presentation will consist of 2 sessions:

 Friday, May 5 Evening:  Popular Demo / Lecture:  — Tips, Tricks & Time Savers.
Elizabeth will cover zippers, pockets, darts, hems, seam finishes, and bias, as
well as machine feet that make tasks easier.

Saturday, May 6: All-Day Hands-on Workshop — Slashed Silk Scarf.
You will come away from this class with a beautiful scarf and an intriguing
technique to apply to a fabulous purse, jacket or home dec. accessory.

There will be samples to see and touch and quality knits to buy.
Learn to sew all of those oh-so-comfortable knits.
 

Saturday, September 16: All-Day Hands-on Workshop — Georgie Girl Princess Tee
Have the pattern fitted, learn to sew on Slinky knit, make a princess seam tee,
and go home with a flattering garment. 

Slinky knit is flattering to a wide range of body types.
Emma’s patterns are aimed at the mature body although she assures
that all students achieve a flattering fit.

Join the Chapter's first UFO Day at Wake County Commons - bring one or more projects that fall into the category of UFO (unfinished Objects), WIGs, or PIGs,

Projects must have been started - there will be no cutting area.
